Meet clients from a link. Chip keeps the notes.
A Zoom alternative for small business that lives next to your clients and projects. Schedule a meeting, send the link, and guests join from their browser with no account. Recurring team meetings and 1:1s book themselves.
Free plan, no card needed. Or book a demo.
Schedule a meeting in one short form.
Give it a title, a date, a time and a length from 15 minutes to 2 hours, then add teammates or any email address. Guests see the time in their own time zone. Press Schedule and send, and everyone gets the invite with the link.
- "Add a teammate or an email address"
- Options: Lobby for guests, Record automatically, Chip notes automatically
- An optional note for the invite
No account. No download. Just the link.
Guests open the link in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. They check their camera and microphone, type their name and wait in the lobby until you admit them, with Admit all for a bigger group. If a camera is blocked, they can still join to listen.
- A pre-join check of camera and microphone, in your brand colour
- The lobby: Admit, or Admit all
- "Thanks for joining", then your next step: your booking page or a link
Run the room: host controls and breakout rooms.
Hosts can mute everyone, lower all hands, make someone a co-host or the host, remove a person and End for all. Breakout rooms split people into 2 to 10 rooms, shuffled or by hand, with a timer or until you bring everyone back; guests move with their own link.
- Mute everyone, Lower all hands, Make co-host, Remove from the call
- Breakout rooms with a countdown, and "Bring everyone back"
- Hosts stay in the main room and can visit any room
Do the work in the call, not after it.
Present a startbuddi document while everyone follows your scroll, keep the meeting notes in a document everyone edits together, add tasks with an owner and a date, and open a whiteboard to sketch on together. Guests can see a board without editing it.
- Present a document or share your screen
- Shared meeting notes and tasks, from the call
- Whiteboards in the call; "Show guests" gives them a view-only copy
Team meetings and 1:1s that book themselves.
Choose Repeat when you schedule, every weekday, week, two weeks or month. Or let HR set a meeting cadence in People: a team meeting for each team and a 1:1 for every manager and report. Live books each one, invites the right people and keeps up as teams change.
- Each meeting gets its own link, in everyone's calendar two weeks ahead
- "Set by HR" meetings follow new teams and reporting lines
- End series cancels what is coming; past notes stay
A new hire's first calls, already in the calendar.
When you start onboarding in People, Live books the new hire's welcome with their manager and a meet-the-team call on day one, then check-ins at 30, 60 and 90 days. Cancel the onboarding and those calls are cancelled too.
- A welcome and Meet the team on day one
- 30, 60 and 90-day check-ins
- Switch it on or off in Live settings
Every booking gets a video link.
Choose startbuddi Live video as your Bookings meeting link and every booking gets its own meeting, with the link in the confirmation and every reminder. Ten minutes before, you get a nudge to join. Ten minutes after, if your guest has not turned up, one click marks the no-show and sends them a reschedule link.
- "startbuddi Live video (recommended, Starter and above)"
- A nudge to join 10 minutes before
- "Mark as no-show and send a reschedule link"
In your calendar, and everyone else's.
Scheduled meetings go to your connected Google or Outlook calendar, with every participant invited, so they land in each person's own calendar too. Reschedule and the event moves; cancel and it goes. Inside startbuddi, one Calendar shows meetings, bookings, webinars, tasks due, social posts and time off.
- Google Calendar and Outlook
- Updated when you reschedule, removed when you cancel
- A month view; open a day to see everything on it
What happens after you press Schedule.
The invite is the start. Notes and tasks follow on their own.

Free has no Live minutes, so calls, drop-ins and webinars in startbuddi Live start on Starter.
