One page. One job. Done properly.
A waitlist for the launch. A free guide in exchange for an email. A page that sells one course. Landing pages do one thing, so they are quick to build: describe it to Chip or start from a template, and the sign-ups have somewhere to go.
Start with the one thing you need. The rest is there when you're ready. Free plan, no card needed. Or book a demo. Templates: see the landing page templates.
Say what the page is for. Chip writes it.
Pick a recipe (free guide, waitlist, book a call, coming soon and more), say a sentence about your business, and Chip writes every section in your brand. It will not make up prices, reviews or numbers; those stay as gaps for you. Nothing goes live until you press Publish.
- 14 Chip recipes, from "Free guide" to "Coming soon"
- 15 credits for a page, shown before you start
- Rewrite, change the tone or translate into French, Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo or Swahili for 5
Click the thing you want to change.
Drop in a form, a countdown, pricing, your open booking times or a Buy now button from more than 80 elements. Check it on a phone (most of your visitors will be on one), then on a laptop. Your work saves as you go, and version history keeps what came before.
- Forms, booking times and store products as blocks
- Desktop, tablet and phone views
- Autosave, undo and version history
See every page and who it brought in.
The list shows visits, leads and conversion for each page. Open one and its Leads tab lists every sign-up. Set the page form to add people to your contacts, and each one lands in Customers with the page they came from, ready for a follow-up.
- Visits, leads and conversion per page
- A Leads tab on every page
- Sign-ups matched to people you already have
Landing pages: visits, leads, conversion and status for each page.
What happens after the button.
Add the pages that come after a sign-up: a thank-you, a checkout, one more offer or the download they asked for. Each step is its own page, in order. Then write the thank-you email from the Emails tab, so it goes out while they still remember who you are.
- Steps: Thank you, Checkout, Upsell, Download
- A thank-you email from the Emails tab
- Attach the page to a Marketing campaign
Check it, schedule it, share it.
Before you publish, a quick check points out a missing search title, a form that goes nowhere, pictures with no description or no privacy policy. They are nudges, not a locked door. Go live now, or schedule the launch for midnight and go to bed.
- "Schedule for later" with "Go live at" and "Come down at"
- Renamed the page? The old address keeps working
- Your own domain, from Starter

Where they're better
- CarrdVery cheap and very quick for a single tidy page, with multi-page sites on Pro.
- WixFar more templates and apps, and a full website around the landing page if you need one.
- SquarespaceBeautiful design out of the box, with a blog, store and email campaigns alongside.
- startbuddiFewer templates than any of them today, and no multi-page websites yet.
startbuddi is our product. Facts about other tools come from their own pages, checked on 6 October 2026, and plans change, so check before you buy: Carrd Pro · Wix plans · Wix AI builder · Squarespace pricing.
