Clients join from a link. No account, no download.

Schedule a meeting, add teammates or any email address, and send. Guests get an invite with the link, join from their browser and wait in a lobby until you let them in. Meetings can repeat, and they go into your connected Google or Outlook calendar.

Turn on Chip notes and Chip listens for the summary, the decisions and the action items. When the meeting ends you review the draft, give each action item an owner and a date, and save: the items become tasks in Work.

Consent

Everyone knows when it is recording.

When recording or Chip notes are on, a banner tells everyone in the room, at the same moment, and it cannot be hidden. Invites to recorded meetings say so. You choose how long recordings and guest details are kept.

Questions about startbuddi Live

Do my clients need an account or an app to join?
No. They open the link from the invite in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari, check their camera and microphone, and wait in the lobby until you let them in. If their camera is blocked, they can join to listen.
Is startbuddi Live on the Free plan?
Yes. Drop-ins, calls and meetings are on every plan. On Free, up to 3 people can be in a call and meetings end at 40 minutes. Starter raises that to 10 people and adds recording and Chip notes.
Can I record meetings?
Yes, from Starter. The host turns recording on, or you set it to start on its own in Live settings. Everyone in the room sees a banner while it is on, and drop-ins are never recorded.
What does Chip do in a meeting?
With Chip notes on, Chip drafts a summary, the decisions and the action items when the meeting ends. Nothing is saved or sent until you check it. Chip notes use Chip credits.
Can I run webinars in startbuddi Live?
Yes, from Starter. Webinars in Publish make the registration, thank-you and replay pages and send the reminders; choose startbuddi Live as where it happens, and registrants join their own seat from their link. Starter rooms hold up to 30, Growth 100 and Scale 300. On Free, or if you prefer, use your own Zoom, Google Meet or YouTube Live link.
What happens when we use up our Live minutes?
Calls, meetings and drop-ins keep working, and nothing in progress is cut off. Starting a new recording waits until next month, or until you buy an extra minutes pack in the app.
Can clients call us from their client portal?
Yes, on Growth and Scale. The portal chat has a Call button on both sides, and the client joins from a personal link with no account.
Does it work on a slow connection?
Yes. Low data switches to audio and screens only, and startbuddi suggests it when your connection is poor. If the connection drops, the call reconnects on its own.
