When you log into your workspace, the startbuddi dashboard is the first thing you see. It brings everything together in one place, including your tasks, projects, bookings, campaigns, and more. This guide will walk you through each section so you know exactly what to do and where to go.

New Tasks and New Projects

On your startbuddi dashboard, you will notice two buttons: New Tasks and New Project. Here is something important to know: they both do the same thing. Whether you click New Tasks or New Project, you are taken through the same steps to create a project.

When you click either one, you will be asked to fill in the following:

  • Project Name - give your project a clear name
  • Description - briefly explain what the project is about
  • Color - choose a color to identify it easily
  • Start Date and Due Date - set your timeline
  • Template - pick from available templates such as the Blackboard template, the Marketing template, or a client's own template
  • Team Members - select and add the people working on this project
  • Goals - link an existing goal or define what you want to achieve

Once you have filled everything in, click Create Project and you are good to go.

Open Projects

Open Projects on your startbuddi dashboard shows you all the projects that are currently in progress. These are not completed projects. They are active ones that your team is working on right now. When you look at your dashboard, you will see them listed as active, so you always know what is ongoing and what needs attention.

Book a Session

The Book a Session button is for scheduling a call or meeting with a client. This could be a voice call, a video call, or even an in-person meeting. You simply fill in the details, including the date, time, type of call, and who it is with.

Send Campaign

The Send Campaign feature lets you send a campaign directly to your clients from your startbuddi dashboard. You choose the client, set up the campaign details, and send it out. It is a straightforward way to stay in touch and keep your marketing running.

Create Invoice

Create Invoice is where you bill your clients. You enter the amount, a description of what the payment is for, your account details, and any other relevant information. Once it is filled in, you can send the invoice directly to your client.
