Our story

Why we built startbuddi

We started by talking to service professionals across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and the UK. The story was the same everywhere: talented people, drowning in admin. Coaches manually tracking clients in WhatsApp. Consultants chasing invoices by email. Agencies running projects across four different tools that don’t talk to each other.

The tools that existed were either too expensive, built for Western markets, or required technical expertise that most small service teams don’t have. Payment integrations that don’t support Paystack. CRMs that assume you have a dedicated sales team. Marketing platforms that cost more than the clients they’re meant to attract.

startbuddi was built to be the exception. An all-in-one platform with native Paystack and Stripe support, built-in AI through Chip, and a pricing model that works for businesses at every stage — from the solo coach just starting out to the 10-person agency ready to scale.
