Which payment providers are supported?
Paystack (for NGN, Ghana, Kenya and more) and Stripe (for USD, GBP, EUR, and international cards). Both can be active simultaneously.
Can I collect deposits at booking?
Yes. When a client books a paid service, they pay the deposit (or full amount) at checkout. No separate payment request needed.
Does it work for Nigerian businesses?
Yes. Paystack is fully integrated for NGN payments including card, bank transfer, and USSD. NGN is natively supported.
Can I see payment status without checking Paystack separately?
Yes. Payment status — paid, pending, overdue, failed — is visible inside your startbuddi workspace, attached to the invoice and client record.
What about refunds?
Refunds can be initiated from within startbuddi for Stripe payments. Paystack refunds follow Paystack's provider flow.
