I use Calendly right now. Is switching to startbuddi difficult?
No. startbuddi connects to Google Calendar, and your services can be recreated in under 20 minutes. The main difference: you now collect deposits, build a CRM, and stop chasing invoices manually.
Can I take a deposit instead of full payment at booking?
Yes. You choose — deposit only, full payment, or free booking. Different rules per service type. Deposits are collected via Paystack or Stripe at the time of booking.
Can I accept Naira payments? Does Paystack work?
Yes. Paystack is fully integrated for NGN payments. Stripe is also supported for international clients. Both can be active simultaneously.
What if a client needs to reschedule?
They use the reschedule link in their confirmation email. They pick a new slot within the rules you've set (notice period, available times). You're notified. No messages needed.
I only do free discovery calls right now. Can I still use this?
Yes. Free booking types are supported on the free plan. When you're ready to charge for services, upgrading adds payment collection in under 2 minutes.
